How many appointments are required?

How long are the appointments?
The first is 1/2 hour and the second is 1-2 hours according to how many Lumineers are being placed.
Is the procedure painful?
Absolutely NO pain. There is no drilling sensitive tooth structure and therefore no anesthetic is required.
Do I have to wear temporaries in between appointments?
No.
How long can I expect my Lumineers to last?
If you care for them in the normal manner by brushing and flossing regularly and having your teeth cleaned at least twice a year, your Lumineers should last 10 or more years.
I am a heavy coffee drinker, will my Lumineers stain?
No, the special porcelain that is used is very resistant to staining from coffee, tea, wine and berries. If any stain does appears it usually can be removed at your cleaning appointment. We also recommend you use one of the “whitening” toothpastes on the market.
My teeth are dark in color and there are gaps between them. I want white teeth and no gaps. Can Lumineers help me?
You would need an exam by Dr. Santelli first BUT most likely you would be a candidate for Lumineers.
